The Quick Start program is just that, a quick way to get started living and adventuring with your dog. This is a 3 week, 21 day intensive boarding program. During this program we focus on 5 key behaviors to get you and your dog going!

1. Come when called: This is one of the most crucial tasks to teach your dog, so I like to start there! We will teach your dog to come when you say his name, and give the command. We will practice and learn to do this in as many different new locations as we can!
2. Heel: When teaching the heel command, we teach the dog to walk with you while on a leash. We teach them to avoid distractions while also teaching you how to properly reinforce all behaviors!
3. Sit: We will teach your dog to sit when you tell him to. He will also sit until released using the "free" command later!
4. Down: getting your dog to lay down and stay there is something that challenges a lot of pet owners. During this program we not only teach your dog to lay down when you tell him. But we teach them to stay there until released using the "free" command.
5. Place: With place, we will teach your dog to go to a designated spot and stay there. This comes in handy when teaching your dog to relax in the evening, or keeping them calm and out of the way when guests come over.

Along with all of this we will also address all of your common basic behaviors as they arise. Some of these behaviors may be, jumping on guests, chasing cats or other small animals, stealing items off tables or counters, bolting out open doors, and manners around furniture! This will be done in a 21 day in-home boarding program where your dog will be with me, my family, and all my pets! After we teach your pet, we will then come back and teach you and your family how to properly reinforce all of the new training. Included are 3 individual lessons that will be held at various locations to teach you everything that you need to know to set you up for ongoing success with your dog!

The Puppy Program is perfect for puppies or dogs that may be older, but are new to the home. This is a 4 week, 28 day boarding program. These 4 weeks are spent teaching the new dog how to live in the home. We will focus on the same basic behaviors as the quick start program:

From there we will move on to teaching the dogs how to live and succeed in its new environment. We will work on proper manners greeting new people, not stealing stuff off the tables or counters, and make sure that they do not try and run out an open door! The big addition to this program is that we will address any potty training issues. This 4 week program gives us a good opportunity to teach the dog a good potty routine, then with the included 4 individual lessons, we will teach you and your family how to complete the potty training in home, as well as teach you about all of the other new skills!

The Prominent Pet program is for those that want something a little more than the basic pet.The goal of this program is to get you and your dog ready for every adventure that lies ahead. Once your dog masters the basics, this is where we make them a Prominent Pet, we then add in an e collar for an additional way to communicate with our dog. This is a wireless form of communication that can be done instantly, and consistently by everyone handling the dog! This way we no longer have the issue of the dog listening to one owner more than the other! I like to describe it that we are using the collar to add emphasis to your verbal commands! This consistent form of communication allows us to more quickly get off to some fun adventures, whether it's a night on the town, a morning cup of coffee, or a nice afternoon hike. Also included are 4 individual lessons for me to teach you and your family how to properly reinforce and utilize all of the new training!

The Problem Pet program is designed for dogs that need a little more help. This 6 week, 54 day, program is for dogs that have a higher level of attention. Some things that we tend to address in this program are separation anxiety, and other anxiety related issues, nipping and biting that goes beyond puppy play biting, or any dog that is extra nervous or fearful of new people. The training includes:

Once your dog has completed one of the three training programs, they are eligible to board overnight. Depending on the program your dog completed, they may also be eligible for refresher training — just pay the boarding fee.
